I believe everyone’s journey is unique and deserves to be told. As a marriage and Family Therapist, I will meet you where you are at to help navigate what is not working for you. While helping clients reach their goals, my goal is to help make the therapy process a positive and helpful tool for my clients in their everyday life. I am a licensed clinical social worker with over ten years of experience; I have worked in various settings including therapeutic schools and hospitals.  I work with children, adolescents, and families and have a passion for helping others struggling with emotional and/or behavioral concerns. I have extensive experience working with young adults and adults who want to focus on issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and PTSD.  Although I use a variety of therapeutic techniques, my primary goal is to establish a positive therapeutic relationship with clients that allows each person to feel safe and supported in our work together. My goal is to work as a team as we explore whatever may be troubling someone, whether it is a current stressor, or something from the past that continues to cause distress. I prefer a more casual communication style knowing that developing a relationship can take time, and I will work with each client to make sure feel they feel comfortable and understood.
